This week we have have two students on our student of the week post.
TRIZAR CHEBET, 3 years Babyclass.
Trizar lives with her mother in the sprawling Kibera slum at Makina village. She is the first born to her mother who has a baby son, she lives as a single mother and earns her living by washing clothes for those who live in the nearby upmarket estates of Woodley and Jamuhuri. Sponsorship for Trizar will bring cheers to her mother.
STEPHEN KEVA, 13 years class four.
Stephen has yet to settle down in the school, having been rescued from the slum of Kibera. He lives with his grandmother in Gatwekera village of Kibera. The grandmother’s hawking business cannot support paying fees for Stephen. His sponsorship is very necessary.
