RedRose Children Center Educational Trip

Hallo Families and Friends,
The children at Red Rose got the chance to go for their annual educational tour. This year the children visited three places. First they were at the Wilson Airport, a small airport in the southern outskirts of Nairobi city. It mainly serves light aircraft within the country and also from the rest of Africa. The kids got to learn how an aircraft works and also took pictures around the airport. Next the children were taken to Mamba Village, this is a recreational place with a crocodile farm and an Ostrich farm. Lastly, the children went to the Bomas of Kenya, a cultural center that showcases different Kenyan cultures and traditions including the food they eat, clothes they wear, their traditonal music and also their traditional houses. Kenya has over 42 ethnic groups all with different cultures and traditions. Below are some of the pictures from the trip. The children were very happy and they learnt a lot from the educational trip.
